Tony Mantor went to Berklee College of Music in Boston, Mass. He toured the country as a singer/songwriter, and bandleader. He traveled to Nashville for several years performing and doing studio work. Since moving to Nashville, Tony has become a fixture in the Nashville production community. With the knowledge he has gained working with many successful industry veterans, ones that have helped shape country music over the years, he started Mantor Music publishing.

Mantor Music was formed at first with the intent of having a publishing company for his songwriting. As Tony grew within the music community he had many singers and songwriters come to him needing help with the business side of the music.

Mantor Music will advise songwriters to tweak the song, if needed, to give it that hit potential. Then work to get that quality demo and style that will be competitive in the market.

Songwriting is a craft learned, it takes time and patience to get that first cut. There is nothing more exciting for a songwriter than to learn how to work in this business, then ultimately get the first recording of the song they put their heart and soul into.

There will not be any promises here at Mantor Music other than if you work hard, do the business as correct as you can, you will have the opportunity to have some success. No one knows when that success will come. There is one thing that is a given. If you do not take care of your business (that means having someone to help guide you in your quest to write and pitch your hit song) it will not take care of you.
