Once Artist development has been done , your product will be pitched to the Majors. You will be shopped to labels currently looking for your style of music. Production

Production is a highly personalized component of the Plateau Music development process. We never loose sight of this fact; "It all begins with the song". An extensive, focused song search is undertaken to provide material tailored to the vocal range and style of each artist. No recycled, generic "one size fits all" songs here. Each song is specifically chosen for the artist and his/her project.

This focus extends to the choice of the musicians as well. Creating a successful session is similar to casting a movie. Players are chosen for their creativity, flexibility and experience in the genre of music being recorded. All are members of the American Federation of Musicians (AFM). In addition, many of our crew are officers and members of the Recording Musicians Association International (RMA). This is an elite group of studio musicians from the major recording centers of the US and Canada. All have years of in-studio experience working with contemporary and legendary artists and producers. Personality and attitude are tantamount in choosing the rhythm section for a session. No matter how great the credits, all players are there to support the artist and provide a relaxed and creative environment.

Our engineering and tech staff are a large part of the recording equation. These behind-the-scenes pros insure that the magic of the session is captured. The right "take" is never lost. The flow of the session is uninterrupted and natural. All track recording is done in established studios with impressive track records. A combination of the best in modern and vintage gear yields a sound that is warm, punchy and totally radio ready. Post production is also the key in the Plateau Music process. No song is finished until all elements (track, vocal, mix, mastering) are maximized.
